The performance of the Baltic Festival orchestra, recorded in "High Definition DDD-20 bit" has got me ! If I played that in vinyl format, the record would be useless by now, so often did I enjoyed what I would characterize as high spirited, joyfull rendition of those concertos. Clue : I bought the Murray Perahia recording of those same concertos (SK 89245) and I *do* like that recording very much. *Still*, I prefer the recording of that (unknown ?) East-European orchestra ! I swear...!

I do not know if the Analekta label is available outside of Canada (it's licensed from ARGUS International, manufactured in the EEC and distributed by MUSICOR). Apart from details on the life of Bach, no detail is given on the orchestra in the booklet that comes with the CD : what a shame !
