This is an EMI double fforte, 2 for 1 disc, giving excellent value. Janet Baker is at the height of her powers, absolutely melting in "Schlummert ein" from BWV 82, and never less than spectacular in anything else. Wonderful use of vocal color, but only to serve the music. If you're burned out on baritones for BWV 82, this is the one to have. First class accompaniments from the best British studio players. All Abbey Road recordings.
