The Brandenburg concerto #3 is done very cleanly and with a sharp and crisp sound as is the rest of the album, Akademie Fur Alte Muzik at times sounds very sharp you might think they are using modern instruments. For the period instrument buff this is a great rendetion to get, if your not convinced about period instruments, I believe this album will change your mind. Jan Hanford said: I didn't like this recording at all. The tempos are too fast and the dynamics are too extreme. It's the kind of frenzied period instruments performance that gives the genre a bad name.
