This is a serious academic interpretation of the Brandenburg Concertos. Tempi are on a somewhat slow side, probably to emhasize unparalleled transparency and precision. Klemperer shows off his trademark discipline and command of the orchestra. Emotionally dry, though. For those follies look someplace else.
