The sound of the baroque oboe is not as refined as the modern instrument we're used to, but the sound it still excellent. The playing is outstanding, I particularly enjoyed the use of the harpsichord buff stop for the Siciliano of Flute Sonata BWV 1031. The combination with the sensitive oboe playing is delightful.
