Comments:Review by Jan Hanford:

Performance: Stunning
Recording: Exquisite

The beauty of this recording is difficult to put into words. A world-class performance of astonishing depth and emotion. It is a rare recording where all the soloists abilities are balance and equally exquisite. This is the case here and the result is gorgeous. The choir and orchestra blend perfectly making this recording highly recommended.

The rarely recorded Magnificat of C.P.E. Bach is also wonderful. Everyone familiar with J.S. Bach should become as familiar with his remarkable sons, C.P.E in particular. This Magnificat proves he is truly his father's son.
