Comments:This recording was sponsored by a mexican company to celebrate their fifty aniversary of fundation, so is probably not selled in other countries than Mexico. The notes claim to be the world premiere recordings of this works but BWV 1038 has previously been recorded as is the BWV 1060 but in other combination of instruments. The BWV 1045, who originally is an overture from a lost cantata and who features a prominent part for the violin, here is completed and made a violin concerto by the mexican violinist Samuel Maynez using other works by Bach. The performances are good specially in the violin concerto and the unauthentic but charming suite. The notes come also in english.
