Comments:This recording would be a terrific introduction for those who don't yet have a taste for harpsichord music: bite-sized morsels of delicious Bach, played on a mellow, full-bodied instrument, by an artist who brings out the full flavor of the music, while remaining faithful to Baroque tradition. A word of caution - other renditions of these pieces may seem bland by comparison. For example, Gilbert's ending of the Allegro in BWV 998: he repeats the final phrase,
reating a wonderful finish
