| Comments: | Gnttler combines with some of the former GDR's great musicians in this wonderful collection of Bach works which really highlight the Bach trumpet. The pieces were recorded in Leipzig's Paul Gerhardt Church. Gnttler has marvellous control of pitch and tone even on the highest notes. With some very fine singing and fine playing from various soloists, this is a very inspiring and beautiful recording. |
