I don't know if this is the best recording of this three BWV numbers, all I can say is that when the sound from my speakers hit me, I thought "this is divine music making"!

The interaction between Kiehr and Scholl in BWV 201 is some of the best Bach singing I have ever heard. I know that it wont be the thing for everyone, and I haven't heard any of these secular cantatas done by others for comparison, still for Me very worth while issue.

It was reviewed favourably in the Gramophone, August issue 1996.
