My rating (1-10): 10+

It doesn't get better than this. I can not hear how anything in this recording can be improved. Do you want ultra-clear audio? It's here. Forget front row, here you are on the podium and hear everything up close. This may be an analog recording but sounds like DDD. Do you want quality over quantity in a performance? It's here. Supreme artistry. The Munich Chamber Orchestra (modern instrumentation) plays with ease, conviction, beauty, grace and power. Kantorow (violin) plays beautifully and powerfully with expert control of rubato, dynamics, and phrasing.

Tempos are what I call perfect. If at first you may think the tempo is slow- you'll quickly adjust and you'll hear what you've been missing in those other faster performances. You'll enjoy every moment here as these master musicians do everything right.
