Performed as Bach intended(on the organ), these works are well-played by Herr Meister. There is an excellent balance among all three voices as well as a sense of emotional involvement. Accompanying the CD is a rather thick but very informative booklet. Not only does it give basic information about the works, composer, etc., it talks about the builder of the organs on which these works were performed(a friend of Bach's by the name of Gottfried Silbermann) the registration for each movement. And it does so in German, English and French. The booklet is very interesting and helpful in understanding these works.
