Cochereau's interpretations are somewhat reminiscent of his teacher Dupre's but he has a little more rythmic flexibility and generally takes more risks. The Passacaglia is the highlight of the program (at least for me) and has the most sumptious registrations imaginable. Too bad nobody plays like this anymore.
