Very delightful and spirtually rewarding. To celebrate the 300th anniversary of the birth of Bach, nine of the most familiar cantata excerpts are transcribed for guitar and orchestra by Patrick Russ, exclusivley for Parkening and this recording. It's a modern, lush orchestration (large ensemble) with Parkening's guitar crystal clear in the foreground. Beautiful music of joy, peace and inspiration.
