Though it has only one Bach piece on it, this disc is a delight and a must for any Trevor Pinnock fan. The harpsichord sound is warm and bright, and Pinnock's interpretation of the Italian Concerto is lively and uptempo, played with his usual consummate skill. You will almost certainly also enjoy the works by other composers.

I buy anything Pinnock does. The consistent high quality of his playing is remarkable. A wonderful recording.
