Ruebsam plays them with authority. His phrasing is very good, the various voices come out quite clear. The recorded sound is in the demonstration class. The accompanying booklet is not very detailed, gives no information on the instrument (which has a magnificent sound) and there are differences between the tonalities mentioned in the booklet's text and the jewel case. The overall impact is a worth considering release, of magnificent music!
It's a great recording, but I think you will need time to like it, very difficult to understand as other Bach compositions.
