I mainly bought this CD because I wanted an alternative to the Passacaglia of Bach I already had (played by Mr. Tachezi). I turned out that Mr. Wagler is a very good organist indeed, although somewhere very deep I seem to feel I'm still missing something... something musical... something like letting the music tell the story itself...

Well, this is just old me rambling, so don't mind that too much. Bach's Passacaglia e.g. is much clearer then Tachezi's performance and in general the registrations seem to fit very well the pieces.

The booklet contains both the disposition of the organ and the registration of the pieces.

All in all, I highly recommend this recording.
